Terms of service
The terms that apply when you book work with Conlays Cleaning Services Limited.
Quotes
Quotes are free and prepared after an inspection where the job needs one. A written quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. Work starts only after you approve the quote in writing, by message or by email.
Inspections
Site inspections for quotes are free within our service areas. For pest control and landscaping, a site visit is part of how we scope the job properly — there is no obligation to proceed afterwards.
Scheduling and cancellations
Booked work can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start time. Cancellations inside 24 hours may attract a call-out fee to cover the team's mobilisation — this will be stated on your quote where it applies.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on each quote. For one-off jobs, payment is due on completion unless the quote says otherwise. M-Pesa and bank payment details are provided with your invoice.
Our responsibilities
We carry out work with reasonable skill and care, and our teams are supervised on scheduled visits. If something is not right, tell us within 48 hours of completion and we will return to put it right.
Your responsibilities
Please give our team safe access to the work area, tell us about fragile or high-value items, and follow any safety instructions given for treatments such as fumigation — including re-entry times confirmed by the technician.
Liability
We take care on every job, but our liability for loss or damage is limited to the value of the work invoiced, except where the law does not allow a limit. Formal liability and insurance wording is available on request as part of a commercial contract.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new bookings from the date it is published.
